Richard Gerst is back with yet another and very pleasant episode of the series “Casting Privati II” and the protagonist is a face that I already know well, and that has not escaped either to you if you follow my work, Alexander Van Ballaer, with whom I had the pleasure of being in the past on a set, caught this time by Richard’ sensitive and intimate eye.
And here’s what Gerst tells us of this new work.
“Alexander van Ballaer (DNA Model Management) is – to put it quite simply – #SUPERB. He is intuitive and emotive without being over the top, and is exactly the type of subject I have been looking for male fashion models for my ‘Casting Privati Part II’ Series.
We shot this story with both digital and medium format film, and he was extremely patient with my jumping back and forth between formats and loading film.
I loved shooting Alexander, and could potentially see him doing some work in some motion picture ‘visual sonatas’ for the upcoming year.”

Here we are with the second editorial of this new series of ” Casting Privati”. Richard Gerst brings us to the discovery of new names, fresh faces, but ones that posses the charm of those who have stories to tell. And surely James Boland, model, but also an actor, will mesmerize you.
And that’s what Richard told me about James: “When I saw James Boland’s portfolio, and then got him in front of the lens, I was immediately impressed. He has an engaging look, and when combined with a natural acting ability, he takes a given role with minimal direction and runs with it.
A graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of Arts, you can catch James as the lead in a new low budget horror-comedy flick, “Zombie Pizza” (take a look at the trailer here below), shot entirely on a GoPro.”

Ho già accennato, pubblicando i due precedenti editoriali di Richard Gerst le settimane scorse, che stavo preparando con il bravissimo fotografo residente a New York una sorpresa.
A Richard piace così tanto il progetto StefanoGuerrini.vision che ha deciso di riprendere un progetto che avevamo proposto qualche mese fa su lepilloledistefano: “Casting Privati”. Editoriali che sono ritratti intimi, molto personali, dei modelli che Richard sceglie. Scatti intensi, in cui diventano protagoniste quelle espressioni, quelle pose capaci di raccontare sentimenti veri e profondi.
E il modo migliore per presentare “Casting Privati II” è grazie a colui che ci ha sempre accompagnato in questi anni nei tanti progetti che hanno unito me e Richard: Nick Ayler. Il protagonista del libro “Tybault”, attore e dj, oltre che modello, vi farà innamorare in questo video.

I have already mentioned, releasing the two previous editorials by Richard Gerst in the past few weeks, I was preparing with the brilliant photographer based in New York a surprise for you.
Richard likes so much my StefanoGuerrini.vision new adventure that he decided to take back a very successful project that we proposed a few months ago on lepilloledistefano: “Casting Privati”. Editorials that were very personal,  intimate portraits of the models that Richard chose. Intense and amazing pictures, in which become protagonists those facial expressions, those poses that are able to tell true and deep feelings.
And the best way to announce “Casting Privati II” is through a person that has always accompanied in recent years the many projects that have put together me and Richard: Nick Ayler.
